The Vuelta a Espana returns to the Valencian region in 2010 with two tough mountain stages. The first arrives in the mountains around Alicante on Saturday 4th September finishing over the top of the now famous 1st cat climb of Xorrett del Cati. The following day it stays in the mountains with no less than 6 categorised climbs, including the 2nd cat climb of Alto de Toudons then continuing on to finish in Alcoy.

Here at Citrus Cycling we are offering a holiday package giving you the opportunity to see both of these great stages and then ride the stage from Calpe to Alcoy.

The Package includes Bed & Breakfast, transport to watch both stages and support vehicle for the ride to Alcoy.

Welcome to Citrus Cycling ...

We are a cycling and multi sport guest house, run by cyclists, for cyclists - catering for all ages and abilities or for those that just enjoy the great outdoors.

We are based on the southern edge of the Valencian region of Spain, just outside of Denia. This is a fantastic area for cycling and mountain biking with many of the world's top professional cycling teams basing themselves here for their winter training camps. Triathelets can take advantage of the warm Mediterranean sea for their swimming which is only 9km from the guest house.

Citrus Cycling's aim is to be flexible to guests' needs, catering for individuals, clubs or groups.

We offer guided, structured cycling training routes over various distances and terrain, throughout your stay. We are also able to provide alternative routes for those that wish to train and explore the area on their own.

The guest house has been carefully set up with cyclists and triathelets in mind. It is run by Adam & Alexandra, Adam having been an active cyclist for many years, and a trained British Cycling coach. He will be your cycling guide for the duration of your stay.

Why Visit Us?

The guest house is perfectly located and set up for cyclists in the village of Benidoleig just outside the bustling town of Denia. After departing across the valley which is full of orange and lemon groves, you are soon in the Sierra da la Segaria, which is fantastic cycling country.
