Paul has been racing since he was a juvenile. After a 10 year gap he returned to cycling in 1997. He first met Adam while racing for Bournemouth Jubilee and Adam was riding for Bournemouth Arrow. They also raced together in the Duo Normand in 2001. Tandem timetrials proved to be the best area for improvement last season with a new 25 P.B.

Steve has been racing for 7 seasons now but his primary sport is Triathlon, where he represented GB Age Group Team at the Standard Distance World Triathlon Championships on the Gold Coast Australia in September 09. Last season saw Steve knock 4mins off his PB for a 25 and over a minute off his 10 time. Steve partners Paul on a Tandem and they have a personal best of 19.00 for ten miles. With a consistent winters triathlon training under his belt Steve is hoping to improve these times further during the 2010 season – in between the triathlon racing!

Russell like Paul had a break from racing for ten seasons, but has shown that he has lost none of his speed over the years. Having recorded a 20.29 as a Junior he then recorded the exact same time in 2008 and with 3 other 20.32's. Russell moved to the dark side this season, riding fixed to a new 25 PB.

Terry, Russell's father and nemesis, shows no sign of slowing down and often produces times that riders half his age can only dream of. Now retired he is training harder than ever, his current training sometimes includes in excess of 300 miles a week.

Steve is a relative newcomer to the sport but has shown over the last season what can be achieved with a structured training plan and a lot of dedication. Reducing his PB by over 3 minutes last year he hopes the continuation of the training over this winter will show a good improvement in the coming season and is determinded to get under that 22 barrier.
